Great old historic building with lots of small dining rooms and ours had a fireplace with a fire going... made for great atmosphere. Varied menu of newer things and old classics... we went on a Sunday and they had some brunch specials in addition to the printed menu. I had Chicken and Waffles and it was a huge serving with four waffles a boneless chicken breast along with a heap of home fries and bacon... very tasty

Stopped by King George on a Sunday afternoon for lunch and was served by Charlie, he is the best serve ever. It was our first time there and the co owner stopped by to check in which was also nice. The service here is incredible. Charlie knew what we needed before we could ask. I would revisit king George again and again. The food was also good. The calamari - delicious. The Kobe burger was perfect and the chicken club sandwich was really good as well. We had a great experience at King George - 10/10

This was one of the best meals I have had. The salmon was crisp and delicious and cooked perfectly. The wings were the best we ever had. The s’mores brownie was to die for and a must have. The server was on top of everything and so friendly. The food was out quick and cleaned up promptly. I would definitely recommend!!

Another wonderful experience at the King George Inn yesterday! The crab cakes, paired with the beautiful river view, were just as delicious as always. But the real standout this time was their new Key Lime dessert—absolutely fantastic. It was fresh, light, and bursting with flavor. I’ll definitely be making a return trip soon just for that dessert alone! A big shout-out to Moe, our server—she was incredibly attentive, friendly, and spot-on with her recommendations (including that amazing Key Lime Pie!). One of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time, thanks in large part to her excellent service

Just was here on 9/14/24 for the first time and it was delicious! Everything from the food, service and atmosphere was great! Loved sitting outside on a beautiful day and looking at the nice views was awesome! The shrimp wrapped in bacon with the dipping sauce was amazing! The prime rib was exactly how I like it and the fish was perfect also! Definitely will be returning! Great menu of delicious choices! Drinks were delicious too! Our waiter was great! Highly recommend trying this place! :)

I went here with my family, my server Moe was so pleasant and friendly, she was very knowledgeable of the menu and we ordered every one of her recommendations and loved them! The ricotta appetizer, the pork chop with chutney, the prime rib! She was precise, timely, and made us feel so welcome. Any time we return we will absolutely be requesting Moe as our server!

A charming historic building located directly on the Delaware. I have visited King George Inn dozens of times and the food is delicious, service is great, and the drinks are strong. Highly recommend visiting if you are in the area.

I recently had the pleasure of trying out King George Ii Inn for dinner. Upon entering I was greeted warmly by two hostesses who brought me upstairs to a table over looking the water. They were friendly and kindly pointed out the old architecture of the building and provided instructions to where I could find a restroom. Once seated , a server with a wide beautiful smile approached the table and introduced herself as Allie. Allie was bubbly, personable and knowledgeable! She suggested a wine and informed me of the evening specials. Allie helped navigate me through the menu and answered any questions that I had, while pointing out the gluten free and vegetarian options. I decided on the salmon and a half rack of ribs. The food was both outstanding in the presentation and taste. Allie was attentive and quick to check on my satisfaction of both. During that time I had the pleasure of getting to know Allie better and even had a visit by one of the owners. I could tell easily by the smiles and demeanor off all the staff, that King George’s is a place where the employees become part of a family. I look forward to returning to King George II very soon.
